I don't have a specific preference when it comes to these courses but i really want to do a course that has some quantitative content but also financy in a way and i'm debating whether to put economics and finance in UCD or management science and information systems in Trinity as my first choice, I'm also considering actuarial and financial studies in UCD. Can someone help me choose which course and compare it in terms of career opportunities, salary, employability, types of positions and future career progression and work life balance. But the most important thing for me would be the salary and if anyone can suggest me any new courses that fits into what i want that would be great as well!!! Would global business be a good choice or BESS in trinity? Or even commerce in UCD??

Your question is too broad and a lot with ultimately depend on luck and your own personality. Do plenty of research and attend the open days for the courses. You will get all the info you need and meet some of the lecturers and students. My son started Economics and Finance this year and his best friend started MSISS. Both had each others course as 2nd choice. In the end both are delighted with their choices. I think both will be broadly similar in terms of potential earnings. My son says that Econ and Fin is very maths based (challenging) so far, the classmates are friendly and a good gender split. He is living on campus in UCD and having the time of his life. I myself did BESS many moons ago and it was a great course.
