Just an observation from North County Dublin, didn't manage to get a photo but saw a female Blackbird with white markings on its back and head, very peculiar looking but it seems that it's becoming more common in the UK

So was just wondering if anyone else has seen them appearing?

I have seen the odd one, yes, but can't say I've noticed any increase in recent years. It possibly coincides with an increase in the popularity of garden bird surveys in the UK, so they're simply just being recorded more rather than actually being more frequent.
