Wondering if anyone has had their full roof membrane replaced? Have a 60s semi D house that has old non breathable bitumen with plenty of holes! Based in Dublin. No hip, chimney stack between houses, tile roof.

Understand it requires scaffold etc....just trying to gauge as I've various quotes from different types of roofers-hard to find a reliable one.

Yes, scaffolding required, all tiles and ridge tiles to be removed. Probably will need new battens as well as new membrane and possibly new fascia and soffit depending on condition. Expensive job what ever way you look at it.
