Thrown out of Facebook and cannot upload ID to get back in.

    Earlier today, my Facebook turned weird and put me into another account which I do not use. I logged out of it, and now I cannot get back in to my own account.

    Part of the trouble is that I have not had to log in to facebook for many years, and I no longer use the email account I originally used.

    However I have reached a part of the re-authentication process where I upload my passport picture. I have held my passport picture up to the computer's webcam as requested, but the webcam will not take a photo, and so my ID will not upload.

    I am doing this with my laptop as I do not have a smartphone.

    Any help much appreciated.
