Drummer wanted for Originals Band - Dublin

Captain Relapse are looking for a drummer.
- 90's sounding originals band - reminiscent of the 'Seattle sound'.
- Looking for a drummer with a kit, able to rehearse + play gigs in Dublin.
- Captain relapse is currently made up of Kon (Acoustic Guitar + Vox) & James (Lead Guitar).
- 2 x bass players interested, but we want to get the right drummer first.
- Had a cajon player, and we enjoy smaller/intimate gigs + will start busking in 2023 so if you have percussion things for not-full-drumkit opportunities would be good.
- Formed early this year '22 and we've been playing as an acoustic duo/trio for most of our gigs so far. Played some nice venues - The Jar, The Grand Social, SINé, Barber's Bar, International Bar, The Cobblestone, Mother O'Reillys.
- We're actively building up a good network of other local bands with similar attitudes/sounds to us
- Want to get plugged in, turned up a bit louder in 2023.

Kon has spent quite a bit of time in Canada + played with a previous incarnation of Captain Relapse professionally around Montreal. James used to work for Roland+BOSS and suffers from some guitar acquisition syndrome. We both work full time (I run my own business), so despite being committed to our songs, music and getting good gigs, we're realistic and flexible about how much time we really actually have. Ideally we're looking for a drummer who can rehearse/play gigs/spend time writing new material approximately once a week or 4 times a month. We typically rehearse at Avenue Road Studios Portobello. We consider this about creativity and having fun. If it ain't that - it's not on.
