Oil heating efficiency q- ufh and rads

    Hi

We set our ufh to come on 3pm-4.30pm to heat downstairs (hall, sitting room kitchen-livjng room). Then at about 7pm heat rads in bedrooms. So the boiler turns off at 4.30pm and back on at 7pm.

Is it more efficent to heat downstairs and then heat upstairs straight after - so the boiler is not stopping inbetween heating downstairs and upstairs?

Edit to add each room is zoned.

It would be if you want to heat the upstairs at 4:30pm. If you only need the upstairs warm at 7pm then perhaps not unless you have very low heat loss and upstairs will retain its temperature long enough into the evening.
