Planning permission for campervan on own land

Is planning permission required for a lived-in campervan (eg. Volkswagen Camper) that is also driven daily? Is it considered to be in the same category as caravans/mobile homes which require planning permission after 10days and the various other regulations that come with those? What if the campervan is also used regularly for travel?

Caravans that are unoccupied can be kept for 9 months without permission unless that has changed in recent times. Mobile homes are a different animal. Your camper van is exempt if it's on the road every day but if it's parked up and occupied then permission is required.
