Apartments - Issues with some channels

    Hi all,

We've just moved into an apartment block built late 2019, and we've been having issues since we moved in with some channels, particularly RTE One and one of the Virgin Medias, being unwatchable/glitchy. Same with some of the UK channels. This seems to be the same with all apartments (other than those who have got Sky, Virgin Media TV etc).

Is this a common enough issue or what would likely be the cause? We'd like to go to the management company about this but don't want to be told there's nothing they can do, would like to have some sort of idea on things they should be able to try to figure out the issue.

    Thanks in advance

How are you receiving the channels via box or tv as might need a rescan if moved , glitchy might be a signal issue /loose connection

TV, stations rescanned after we moved in (rescanned a few times due to the issues with some stations). If all apartments are having the issue, wouldn't it be an issue with the aerial or maybe some sort of distribution box or booster?

2 different feeds sat and Saorview so it does sound like a signal issue and if everybody has the same issue. Storms do move things with windy weather.

Yes, definitely some internal distribution problem for the management company to sort (as both Irish & UK channels are impacted).

If it's an ongoing issue, it may explain why others are getting Sky or Virgin installed.
