Help needed with replacing Vodafone Gigabox with TP-Link VR400 and Nest Wifi

    Hi folks,

I need some help from someone with much more technical knowhow than me. I had Vodafone 1GB Fibre installed and was given the Gigabox router to use. The wifi speed seems ok(ish) when stood next to the router but the range of the thing is shocking. I already had a Nest Wifi router and couple of points so I connected them which improved the range but gave me a double NAT issue which caused different problems.

After reading a bunch of threads on here, I bought a TP-Link VR400 (probably overkill I know) and replaced the Gigabox with that. Took a fair bit of tinkering (setting to modem only mode, setting VLAN to 10 etc.) but I got there. Now I want to connect the Nest wifi router to the TP-Link. I've set it to bridge mode but the Nest wifi refuses to connect and I just get an error on the Google Home app saying it couldn't connect. Not sure if it's important but it tries to connect through a weird wifi connection from the TP-Link called 'setup' something something.

Does anyone have any experience of this that can point me in the right direction please? I'm pulling what's left of my hair out here so any help would be great!
