Hi, general question to the public.

Filling out my tax form and I arrived at this stage that requires me to check the boxes. Do I have to check all the boxes, its seems as though its not giving me an option.

I didnt get paid 7,000 euro on Covid Payment and cant get through to the tax office about this, any ideas? Should I just check the boxes anyway? Ive no idea about taxes etc so maybe Im misinterpreting this stage.

    Thanks :-)

The 7,000 is the amount that Revenue have on record for you receiving under the covid payment. This means that's the amount that has carried across from the interface with social protection. You cant proceed without ticking that box.

What you should do it contact DEASP get them to provide you with an email/letter stating the amount you actually received then send it to Revenue via myenquiries and they can manually input the correct amount.

If you proceed with your filing and have more income on record than is correct it'll generate an underpayment which will be reflected in your tax credits for next year.
