    Hello,

I have a french CAP électricien and soemthing called BEP Marin de commerce, which is a seafarer qualification which comes with a chief engineer certification (partly electrical training too). I'm going to apply to get it recognised but wondered if anyone knew if it would be recognised in Ireland to work either be employed or self employed as an electrician.

    Thanks
