Car hire Lanzarote

    Hi,

    Just wondering about car hire in Lanzarote, either at the airport or in Puerto del Carmen. Any companies to avoid, or any recommendations for the best to pick? Thanks

    I used these guys on my last Lanzarote visit a couple of years ago and had no issues. They are a smaller outfit than the big brands you will see at airport desks but that is often a positive thing. I've rented a car in Lanzarote 3 or 4 times over the last 20 years and always obtained an all inclusive price that covered full insurance so there was no hidden extras.

    Cabrera Medina / Cicar are my go to, avoid Goldcar & Orlando, book directly, free cancellation, full insurance included, if you’re staying in a hotel they will deliver car to you & collect, or just pick up at the airport, if they operate in Lanzarote, Pluscar & Autoreisen are also reputable

    Go with Autoplus or AutoReisen from the airport.

    Ive used them numerous times and have had zero issues.
