Getting a bus stop & shelter removed/relocated

    Just looking for ideas, opinions or suggestions on the best way to get a Dublin Bus shelter & stop removed from outside a house. We,re on a main road 3 or 4 stops from the last stop and the bus shelter & kerb are stopping us from putting in a driveway to the house. All the other houses along the road have driveways the owners had put in years ago but the pervious owner of our place didnt. We have to park cars in commercial sites across from the house and its becoming a problem. The shelter blocks 75% of our front garden so a stop with a pole isn't a major issue but does mean we people on the bus can still see into the house. There is space about 100 meters past the stop where there is no housing and they could easily put a stop. We had previously asked the advertising company not to replace the shelter a few years ago but were told where to go to put it bluntly. The stop is also causing a number of other minor issues that we could live with if the shelter was removed.
