Which midband supplier hss the best fair usage policy?

Currently only 24Mb/4Mb speeds available to me over the phone line and would like to get something better. While the speeds are low I know I could be uploading or downloading all day long at those speeds and no one will come looking for me. My monthly usage is around 1.5TB which is mostly uploading/downloading 4K video to the cloud, usually Google or Box. No torrenting or anything like that. Just off the phone with Imagine and they said they have a limit of 1TB and then they drop speeds to 1Mbps which is no good for me really. Are there any other options out there? Cheers

I had Vodafone mobile broadband (on a router) until I finally got fibre (hallelujah!) earlier this year and they're actually unlimited. When I was looking at mobile broadband Three's "unlimited" data actually had a 750Gb limit in the very small print, and if memory serves, would gleefully charge through the nose for going over it. Eir's definition of "unlimited" was a measly 120Gb at the time.

This may of course all have changed in the last year, but just beware of the word "unlimited" - though I probably don't need to tell you that!

but here it says: "From 31 August 2022, the fair usage policy on these plans will be removed."

All I meant is be wary of "unlimited" plans - fair usage and unlimited should not be the same thing, but Comreg fail to stamp it out

I had Vodafone from Sept '21 for a year, though didn't really use it after getting fibre in May this year. At that time Vodafone were the only ones doing genuinely unlimited data - even then I had to take them to task when they sent a snotty letter threatening to throttle me. I haven't looked at any of the mobile policies in the meantime

It is supposed to be a "For Life" sim offer as far as I know.

I believe they throttle the speed, though have never experienced it personally (Eir mobile plan, but on WiFi more often than not)
