dog friendly walking trails near Sneem Hotel

Hi guys can anyone recommend some trails around this hotel, ones that allow off the lead and on the lead for very well behaved 7 year old Pointer. Staying in hotel next June .

If you walk into the Village and up past the pharmacy the Kerry Way takes you all the way to Rossdohan/Parknasilla. It's a lovely walk and you can pop in to Brushwood Studios on the way.

Dogs not allowed on the Kerry Way, even on a leash. The walk into Sneem goes through a farm with animals. The farmer will not know that your dog is well behaved.

Afaik Coillte woods are dog friendly, and they even allow dogs off lead (they just say the dog must be under "effective control")...I'm just not sure where the nearest to Sneem is. I'd say dogs are left off the lead in Derrynane, but guessing that's half an hour drive.
