Rewire Cost 2022

    Hello all,

    Just received a quote of 9,600 to rewire a 1950's 3 bedroom (approx. 100m2).

Hard to figure out whether the price is high/low when doing general searches. It should be mentioned that apparently, the work is very good from this group - 3 electricians, 3 days blitz type workflow. Final finish will not be filled to painting standard, will have to finish walls myself.

Just wondering if anyone has had a quote recently that I could compare to.

    ===================

    1. Main Bedroom:

    - 4x double socket

    - 1x light fitting

    2. Second Bedroom:

    - 3x double socket

    - 1x light fitting

    3. Box room:

    - 2x double socket

    - 1x light fitting

    4. Bathroom:

    - Immersion switches moved

    5. Landing:

    - Light fitting

    - smoke detector

    - Attic light

    6. Hall

    - 2x double sockets

    - 4/5x spotlights

    7. Dining Room:

    - 4x double sockets

    - 1x light fitting

    8. Sitting Room

    - 4x double socket

    - 1x light fitting

    - CO detector

    9. Outdoors

    - 2x double outdoor socket

    - Car charge wiring (for future installation)

    - 1x outdoor light

    10. Kitchen

    - 2x light fitting

    - Move fusebox

    - Smoke detector

    Sounds good to me.

Are you getting any additional sockets and do they have to chase any new cables into any brick walls?

About to get something similar done myself but haven't had any quotes yet.

Would you mind PM'ing me with their details.

    Thanks
