Dashboard Super Glue removal/ covering

So the last owner of my 2000 Saab 93 decided in their wisdom to us layer upon layer of super glue to stick some silly phone holder to the dash which I removed...

Look at the woe that is left underneath...

Admittedly, I made it worse by (1) trying to use acetone to remove it which just turned it white and (2) trying to use wd40 to break it down and then scrape it off with a blade which resulted in the 2 tears you can see.

Im at wits end with it..

Any ideas on what to do ?

I am thinking cover it with something at this stage, but what ???

never used it but says it does the job, just need to be sure it doesn't create residual damage to dash

Thanks a mil SP! I may start looking for SE of that ... I went on AliExpress and got a Saab branded non stick phone mat to cover it for the time being ... Better than looking at the marks all the time, just in your eye line !!
