Heating but no hot water

Lads, I had a plumber out to balance the rads the other day. Now all working but when on it's not heating the hot water. Would a valve been shut off maybe? We have a Mason Power Extra valve in the hot press that is set to auto. The bottom pipe (about a third up) is hot when heating on but no hot water. Any ideas?

I've a call out to the plumber but if it's something simple I could fix myself.

Pic of the area around that valve showing both pipes that go into the cylinder.

it might now throw the balancing off, but fingers crossed.

seems to be ok. Have one radiator that takes an age to heat up. It's the living room and last in the line of 12 radiators. It genuinely can take up 45 mins or more to get fully hot while all the other radiators are hot. When it does heat up it's grand. I now wondering do I need a new heat pump. The one I have is an Evosta 2.
