Seems like a pretty good deal -- lifetime licence for MS Office, includes Outlook, PPT, Excel, Word, Teams and OneNote : Windows & Mac.

Only thing I can't figure out is whether you're allowed transfer devices in future...

"lifetime" is the marketing lingo for this software version. So you purchase office 2021 and you can use it forever. You will not be able to use the next version be that 2022 or 2023...

They are OEM licences. Technically not valid but also technically valid....

You are meant to be bundling them with a computer you are selling. You don't get direct support on them, and they can only be installed on a single device once.

Ms definitely frowns on them being used in this way but hadn't tried to do anything about them in years, as there's nothing they really can do.

The different with those ones are you are buying unauthorized access to a large company/school/college collection.

You can’t use your own email and run the risk of removal at any time.

Safer to get in on a family package on boards or buy from here which is a lifetime license for the “older” package.

personally, I don't want a sub, I won't use it enough on my home laptop so would rather a older package.

That's not necessarily true. Some of the cheapest may be volume licence keys, which is what you refer to. But the vast majority are OEM. My £7 example is a bad comparison. 20£ should get youan OEM copy though

For clarity, as the poster said, using volume licence keys is not allowed and they can get blocked.

Oem you legitimately own and can use your own details. Not your fault you couldn't sell the pc you built and then decided to keep it as your own. 🤣🤣🤣

Stacksocial are ok. They are “older” license keys. One good clue is that they don’t come with one drive.

If your on a volume key with one drive and the parent owner somewhere else in the world shuts you down, you loose your onedrive contents.
