Anyone else see the lights in the sky coming from the mullingar direction or possibly further.

Occurred last night and tonight. There were pulsing lights being "shot" through the clouds in "packets" last night. And tonight it seemed more like a giant sweeping lighthouse light. Thought it might of been just an unusual version of sheet lightning last night but now i'm not so sure. Drove to the Hill of Uisneach tonight to get a better look and it seemed it was coming from mullingar of possibly further. also saw ghostly wispy reddish lights above and below cloud level. and even a slight green aurora at one point. I didn't get any pictures as my phone cam isn't good enough to pick up that light unfortunately. if anyone has any pictures do share. Could happen again tomorrow, so keep an eye out.

I saw the sweeping light coming home from work on Friday eve. It was casting light against the clouds as I was driving Into Mount Temple. The coloured lights were there one night last week. I just assumed it was from whatever is going on in Belvedere cos as I was driving it was between the hills of Uisneach and Cnocaisde in Rosemount.

Some light festival at Belvedere House (outside Mullingar) I believe. Can be seen for miles around.

Edit: Little town media has a short video on FB of what we saw last night. It could be seen from Athlone also.

watched a green light like a laser light for a few minutes from my house in Gaybrook looking towards Belvedere possibly.

Ha! Yes, saw them last night between Athlone and Moate, on the motorway. Pulsating lights. Tried to take a video on the phone, but didn't come out very clear.

Seen a green light here in Carrick on Shannon this evening was weird and don't think it was lightning

No painc Folks ..no little green men coming yet lol .its the light festival..they have special lasers to shoot pulses in to the night sky ..I have it on good authority

It's the nasa international space station reflecting on earth.

Saw the video. mad. the lasers must of excited all the particles in the atmosphere as well because i definitely saw ghostly wisps a bit above road level as well as much higher in the sky as well as a slight aurora.
