Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

WANTING TO START A BAND IN SOUTH WEXFORD.

    HI ALL,

    I'M LOOKING FOR A FEW LIKE MINDED PEOPLE TO START A FOLK/TRAD BAND BASED AROUND THE WORK OF PLANXTY, MOVING HEARTS, AND CHRISTY MOORE. NOT A TRIBUTE BAND!I THINK THAT WOULD BE TOO MUCH OF A CHALLENGE. BUT A GROUP THAT PLAYS THEIR MUSIC.

    I PLAY GUITAR, BODHRAN, BANJO AND A FEW OTHER THINGS AND SING. I'M LOOKING FOR OTHER MUSICIANS, WHO ARE FANS OF THE MUSIC, MULTI-INSTRUMENTALISTS, IDEALLY ABLE TO PLAY A FEW THINGS, SUCH AS GUITAR, WHISTLE, BOZOUKI, AND SUCH, AND PROVIDE BACKING VOCALS, AND HOPEFULLY SING A FEW SONGS ALSO. IDEALLY FROM SOUTH WEXFORD, AS NO ONE WANTS TO BE BURNING MUCH DIESEL THESE DAYS.

    I HAVE A REHEARSAL SPACE IN SOUTH CENTRAL WEXFORD, NEAR THE COAST. I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO SET UP A TWO OR THREE PIECE BAND, TO PLAY IN THE SOUTH EAST. I'M LOOKING FOR SOULS OF A SIMILAR AGE IDEALLY, SO IF YOU CANT REMEMBER HAVING TO WALK TO THE TV TO CHANGE THE CHANNEL, YOU MAY BE SLOWED DOWN SLIGHTLY BY AN OLDER FART (ME). IF INTERESTED, PLEASE GET IN TOUCH.
