Bought an electric fire with led last year (about 18months)

But was waiting to renovate room before installing , delay with trades people etc

Plugged it in and led light is not wprking

Contacted seller who said it was out of warranty as it's over a year , we could try manufacture to see if they would do anything.

Is the seller right to say so? It hasn't been used ? Which I know isn't their fault

Hard one for you to prove just the same,

It could have been damaged between when you received it or by the installer.
