I have about 20 years of photos on a very old laptop that could die any day soon. I want to store on an external drive. I am thinking of dual SSDs. I do not necessarily need a networked solution however could be persuaded otherwise.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks

Why not your dual SSD's and an old fashioned mechanical drive?

Loads of deals on Amazon atm https://www.amazon.co.uk/deal/8c2fa30b. I'd be happy with the Crucial and the Sandisk SSD's, hedge your bets across two different SSD's then belt and braces get a mechanical one.

Edit> Still some on Amazon but there were more last Friday.

Wake me up when it's all over.
