PPR CGT Query

Hello, I have been living in an inherited property since Feb 2020, it transpires the solicitor dealing with probate never sent the correct forms to land registry, this is being done now. The value of the house has increased a fair bit since due to works I have carried out along with the general house prices rising. Would I be liable for CGT since technically I was not the owner for the previous 2 and a half years? I intend to sell because my daily work commute has changed dramatically and I would like to be closer to work.
