Assertive vs Passive

This is something I notice in people and I wonder about. I have a tendency to believe that if you are a more assertive person you are better off in life than if you were passive person.

I'm quite the passive person myself, so much so that if I'm out with a group I'm trying to please everyone.

I note that if you have this attitude you tend to please no one. So is it the case you are better off being very assertive in life?

Yet I might say if all the assertive types went away we'd have world peace✌️

What are you of these two and how would you say it's affected your life, positive or negative.

this is in the wrong forum but....

the best thing to be is yourself, or whats sometimes called 'your authentic self', god only knows what that truly means, but being comfortable in yourself is very important. yes assertiveness helps, but there are limits to this, theres assertiveness, and damn right rude, this can be a difficult balancing act. stop being a people pleaser, its a well meaning act, but there are dysfunctions in it, only offer support to others if it truly helps you, and does not compromise your well being and happiness

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
