Final tournament before the world's and the top 64 from this year's players tour qualify and are seeded according to the players tour ranking. Peter wright has withdrawn. This one on ITV4.

Friday this year unusual with a 10.30-18.30 mammoth session, presumably to avoid clashing with the england soccer match at seven. Sat and sun have afternoon and evening sessions as usual

Lol, mensur 5-0 and opens the 6th leg going for D12 with his first two sets of darts. Ends up winning the leg!

Where's Steve Lennon disappeared to? Seems on an inexorable slide down the rankings?

Had a real poor year. Not even in top 64 of the pro tour and missed qualification for this. Almost sneaked into the grand Prix via the qualifier, is eligible to play the world's PDPA qualifier on Monday.

Mickey mansell lost his first round game here

I like Heta but he's becoming a bit of a Ian White or Jamie Caven by playing well on the floor and underperforming in the tv majors.

Suljovic lost the rag against Wade. Missed a load of attempts at d12 in one leg and decided to throw his first dart at d12 next leg in every visit

MVG at his ridiculous best can't be beaten when he plays like that gas he almost came a cropper against Menzies. Cross back into form in time for the worlds as well he played well all weekend not a man alive who could live with MVG playing like he did in that final.

Agree, over the long format of the World's he will be very very hard to beat, assuming of course he can hold his form
