Rear Reversing sensors on 09 Quashqi

    Recently bought a car and only issue Ive found so far is the reversing sensor dosent seen to work. Not sure if it was a factory fit or later adition , previous owner isint around to ask at present.

    It makes the beep sound when you engage the gear ..and sounds for about a few seconds but then dosent register sound as you get closer to an object.

    Tried the obvious like cleaning the 4 sensors but no difference.

    Have changed the fuse I was told was connected to it .

    Due an NCT next week , so any ideas what might be the issue and the likley cost of repair

    Otherwise im very pleased with it despite the high mileage on it .Petrol

    It won’t be an NCT fail.


    post a picture of the sensors and it might be obvious if they’re factory fit or not.
