Hi all , question from a neighbour, they are on a CE scheme and wondered if they will get the €12 increase in January. Technically they are not on a Jobseekers payment whilst on a CE scheme, would anyone have an answer, thank you

    Short answer, yes.

Less short answer, CE pays your usual rate plus 22.50 (or is it 25 now?), if the rates increase, so does your CE pay.

Thanks for that Nothing, I think he mention the CE rate is €22.50 plus what his original Jobseekers rate was before going on the scheme, thanks again

Oh! Just had a quick look there, he'll also get another €5 as the 22.50 is going up to 27.50, so he'll be up €19 minimum :)
