Has Channel 4 changed its DOG recently?

Seems different to me. Don’t like the huge ‘HD’ part of it at all. Do we really need to be told in this day and age that a channel is HD when its now the defacto standard. ITV1,2,3,4 and Channel 5 have no HD idents on their channels anymore.

Yes the HD is much bigger. I'm not a fan of it myself. It also seems brighter.

Its quite intrusive in darker scenes. Time for a ‘ditch the HD’ campaign to pressure C4 into change!

Hmm, they must have been listening. The 'HD' part of the DOG has been ditched, with just the '4' remaining. Still a tad more opaque than Channel 5's DOG though, which is the best looking IMO if broadcasters insist on having these unnecessary additions to one's TV screen.
