Back panel for a TV unit

Any carpenters/joiners out there know how the back panel behind the TV like this is done? Largest plywood available is 8x4 so would need two panels with visible joints to cover a space such as this

Its a paint finish so a carpenter wouldn't worry to much and leave it to the painter to clean up and fill.
I suspect the whole center section is made from larger panels and the paneling effect is created by planting the mouldings on the surface.
The center could even be plasterboard with added mouldings.
