Measuring heating pipework

Alright, I want to get a measurement of the plumbing for my heating system. It's all copper and I'm aware that Irish copper uses imperial sizing with a thicker wall. Does anyone have a cheatsheet for sizing to mm equivalent?

I can't pull apart the fixtures, nor do I want to, so an internal pipe measurement is off the deck. I'm not looking for an exact figure but just to ballpark it. I've measured the piping at various places under the floors around the house and it's all 70mm external diameter (about 2.75 inches?). This seems massive but I wouldn't really be surprised given the age of the house and the fact that I threw out the original oil fired boiler a few years back. It was one of those cast iron behemoths with ceramic plates in the bottom.

    Any ideas welcome.
