Merc hybrid Brakes shudder at stop..

    Hi all.

    i just bought a 2015 Merc C300h (hybrid). The Brakes are a real let down though. I was told by the garage that the hybrid system charges the battery when braking and as a result the Brakes can shudder quite a bit when coming to a complete stop.

    Any ideas and more importantly a recommendation of a non cowboy garage in Dublin that would be a specialist in hybrid brake systems?

    Ask any back street garage to test drive it. If breaking very hard abs can make brakes shudder. If a disc is warped then you also get a shudder and disc needs replacing. All fairly normal for any garage.
