When do Irish rail tickets go on sale?

I wish to book a train from Dublin to Kerry on 23rd December. When do the tickets go on sale? When I go on the website the only option is to book for the 10th December. It's been like this for ages, I first tried to book at the end of September.

In this case there is a schedule revision for early December that has not yet been locked in, and they can't go on sale until then.
Normally its a few months out.
