    Hi All

Looking for a bit of advice, I Drive a IX35 1.7 Diesel, 6 speed drive.

Last week I was leaving work and the car would not go into gear. Clutch went straight to the floor Got the car towed back home from AA etc AA Mechanic / Technician remarked that it wasn't the clutch as it will select gear normally when engine is switched off, He seemed to think it was the slave cylinder that was causing the problem.

My own mechanic is away for the week, Thankfully I'm not stuck for a car to use. How big of a job is the slave cylinder ?

Providing the clutch doesn't have to be replaced ?

    Cheers
