Triple monitor setup/suggestions for a new screen

Decided for my birthday to treat myself to an aluminium Sim rig from a company in Germany. It recently arrived and I have it most fully assembled anyway. I'd like to add a triple monitor setup for playing games such as Euro Truck Simulator 2 at the moment I'm just using my 43-inch Sony TV, which is 1080p.

Now I'm considering getting a 55-inch TV as it's more versatile than a monitor for everyday use, such as streaming movies and TV shows. Anyway, my question if I did go down the 55-inch TV route would I be stupid to consider some time having an additional two side by side for a triple screen set up? And if I did go down this road, what type of hardware would I need to even render games in decent quality. I doubt my ageing GTX 1070 will cut it anymore.

Also, since I'm here and Black Friday is coming up any recommendation for a new 4K TV that is suitable for not just gaming but my upcoming full-time work from home job.

Personally felt pain on my neck and eye after using 55' TV for my work setup (4 desktops/windows setup) - constantly need to rise up head to monitor/work on two upper, reverted to 3x27' independent screens and all good now. Perhaps would be different experience for gaming

Thanks for your input. You are right, a 55-inch TV would be a little bit too big for a monitor, especially if you have it mounted too close and if you were using 55-inch TVs in a triple set up. Not only would it be ridiculously expensive, but to get a realistic human field of vision which, if I'm not mistaken, is around 120°. The TVs would have to be mounted about 1.5 m or more away whereas 32-inch screens would only have to be in the region of 80 cm or less to get 120° of view. Still, I'm going to treat myself to a new 4K TV anyway as I want one for watching movies.

Just buy an LG C2 55".

I built a timber sim rig earlier in the year and use this set up (with a flexible wall mount) except my old 55" LG only does 60hz with no VRR. Apart from that the setup is perfect, comfortable FOV with pedals against the wall, and I can move the TV out towards me on the wall mount if I want greater immersion.
