Bought a van DOE/CVRT up nearly a year question

    i bought a spare runaround van today , the cvrt/doe is expired since 19th February 2022 .... do i wait until February 2023 to get it tested to avail of the full year test , or does that matter ?

    If you test it now you'll only get a test up to Feb 2023 not a full year.... I'd be booking it in for a test straight away, it's out a long time.

    ok , bit of work needed on it so woudnt get a chance to test until after xmas for January/Febuary .....

    You can go 90 days early like the NCT and not change the expiry. So if you go anytime after 21st November you’ll get a cert to Feb 24. Best of luck on getting it back on the road. Throw up a few pics of what you’re doing in the DIY forum, we need a bit of life in this place!

    Ignore me, it’s 30 days you can go early on CVRT.ie but it’s not clear if that applies when the test is out.
