Hi guys any advice appreciated. My 14 Transit went into limp mode approx 2 months ago. Brought to local garage blocked dpf was diagnosed. So 550e later the van is still going into limp mode. He advised us to change the dpf pressure sensor done that no difference. The last code that came up was for vaporiser issus. Took it out cleaned it codes gone van drove perfect for 2 days then same problem again. Brought it back to the garage who's best advice was to bring it to his mate to get it mapped out. I'm fuming to put it mildly. It's a wonder he didn't suggest that 750e ago. I've Brought it to several mechanics over the past few days. One guy is just too busy another guy didn't want anything to do with it

We're at a loss and we need this van for work so any advice app..

Another 800e to get that done correctly. We changed the 5th injector yesterday and test spin the dpf and the back box went cherry red with steam and smoke flying out the exhaust. The saga continues

Don't keep spending money on it, map now while you've a few spons left... Been there done that, ended up mapping in the end. Different vehicle same bullshit.

Next time it goes to a garage maybe ask them to prime the vaporiser fuel pump and see if they can hear it, simple test all they need is a decent scan tool which most places would have.

Also check the pressure sensor pipes going from sensor to DPF. If possible connect a pressure gauge to the pre-DPF hose and pump, if it's building pressure there's a blockage. The needle shouldn't move.

I'd request the pressure sensor readings at idle and high revs. Should be around 1 or 2 Kpa idle and less than 10 Kpa at revs with a healthy DPF. give or take a couple Kpa each way.

If all is well with those then I'd agree with getting it mapped you can rest easy that you won't have any DPF issue again for the vans life.

If the filter is so badly blocked your only options are either replace it or delete it for good, 800 to do this is far too expensive, could be worth shopping around for a better quote. Or maybe a static regeneration will sort it now seeing as your rear silencer is building heat suggests it is now breathing again.
