Automatic Bluetooth

How can I stop Bluetooth from enabling automatically? When I switch it off it immediately switches itself back on.

It's a problem in the car when I'd rather the phone audio on the phone rather than the car speakers.

In your Bluetooth menu open the "car" , as in whatever is listed in the devices menu for it. When you click in it'll give a list of what's enabled. Usually it's phone calls, media, contacts each with a radio toggle.

You can then switch the phone calls to off.

That seemed to work at first but has broken Bluetooth. When I toggle phone calls back on in Bluetooth settings it won't reconnect to the car. When I manually reconnect phone audio is still on the phone.

Actually, it's not connecting to the phone at all.

Just turn off bluetooth on the phone when you get in the car. Its one click in the quick settings.

Either the car or the phone might have other options about reconnecting.

Cheers. Nothing I changed on the phone worked Inc. forgetting and pairing as new device. Went into car Bluetooth settings and it gave a code for the phone to connect as a new device.

Our cars connect last phone first when you get in But sometimes if two of us are in the car we don't want last phone connect, we simply turn off bluetooth to that phone for the duration of the journey. So the correct phone connects. But we are Android, it doesn't turn back automatically on the phone.

Android with me too, but have opposite Bluetooth problem. When I switch it off it immediately switches itself back on.
