When you register for the 1.24 a month what can you do?.....do you have to do the DNA test for 99Euro to really get any value out of it?

Ancestry has lots of uses and it depends what you want from it. The cheap subscription deal is actually for 3 months. Full price Ancestry is €200 a year, so you can see the value of that deal.

If you want to explore DNA matches, then yes, you need to take a DNA test with them too. Black Friday deals will make this the cheapest time of the year to do so.

They also have lots of records. With a free user account, you can explore the card catalogue and use their site to build a tree. This will generate hints but you can't access the hints without a subscription.
