Break in service

Hi All looking for some advise on redundancy.

I have worked with the same company since March 2014 but in April 2018 I left the company to further my career. The move turned out to be the wrong move and I ended up returning to my old job less than a week later. Just wondering if a short break from my employment would effect me if I was to get a redundancy claim.

    Thanks in advance

As far as I know, yes it would, the years would start counting from April 2018.
