just an update about Venom 3... looks like the writing is done by Hardy himself and Kelly Marcel...

Hardy also has plans for a 4th and 5th... so he is into this character, big time...

its a great character admittedly, when the movie doesn't dissolve into CGI mayhem..

I only got around to watching the first two a few months ago and thought they were great. Tom Hardy's American accent was a little bit dodgy initially but got better and I just found them to be great fun. Looking forward to this

Loved the first, disliked the second but that was down to Woody Harrelson pretty much phoning in his performance which disappointed me.

Think it was the same with the other installments of the series. Should do okayish at the box office.

It's a thing if you didn't like one or two you won't like this.

Surprised the film poor opening in the states.

It does feel like Sony has just put this out. It's a much better film then Madam Webb which they pushed way more.

Maybe they feel end of a franchise and no point of pushing it and focusing on Kraven the hunter.

The original was ok and the second one was a disaster. This was quite watchable though Stephen Graham is pretty pointless in it. Had a row with a lad who wouldn't shut up so that killed the beginning but overall, I liked it.

Hardy had a three film contract IIRC. This is just the last one, for now at least.

Quite liked the franchise up to now but can't remember the humour being so childish in the other 2.. the 15A cert was excessive bar Rhys Ifan's "motherf*cker" at one stage.

So I just seen this today. It was OK

Slow enough to start but the last 30 minutes were really good

Maybe a bit too long do.

I think they should leave it at that. 3 is enough abd it was a good way to end it at least for Venom anyway. Maybe they could do some with your one now. Hers was cool.
