Hi, does anybody here have experience of the Prepay Power electricity provider? Seems much cheaper. Is there any downside?

Its worked out well for me op. I was at 380 every two months with bord gas now its around 260 with pre pay. No nasty bills either every 2 months which is a life safer.

They aren't cheaper. Higher standing charge.

People only save money by making significant changes to their usage, due to being able to see the money run away as they use energy.

Any changes that you made, you could have made by checking the reading on your existing meter, and working out what its costing you. It'll be costing you less than with either of the specific prepay providers regardless, so the potential for savings is actually greater.
