    Hi all can anyone be able to tell me is old English coins worth anything?also how much is 1912 full gold sovereign George head London worth.?

    Bullion value for a sovereign is around €420. The Royal Mint are currently selling 1912 sovereigns for £600, or around €700. However you will be lucky to get the bullion value from a dealer.

    They are available on ebay for not much more than bullion value. Indeed over 30 million gold sovereigns were minted in 1912. Hence the value is going to be driven by the current gold price

    in terms of other UK coins they are unlikely to be worth much at all. Even the Churchill crown issued in 1965 only sells for a few quid on ebay (which barely, if at all, keeps up with inflation)

    There will be some rarities in terms of year of issue, but the chances of having one are pretty low

    they are on ebay for not much more than the bullion value
