Looking to shift my Genesis Volare 931 steel size L. Apparently 'we need the space' so off she must go.

Like the other Volare avdertised here recently it's a difficult one to put a price on given that it's been built up to a personal spec. However, as Genesis bikes are very well appreciated around here here she is:

Genesis Volare 931 steel with carbon form, 2017/18 model with rim brakes. Size L which to me feels like a 56/56.5. I'm 181cm (6'0") if that helps. According to Strava it has covered just 9000km in that time and only got wet once and even that was down to sheer bad luck!

Shimano Ultegra 6800 groupset with 36/52 up front and 11-28 at the back.

Photos show it on a pair of Mavic Aksiums with brand new Conti Gatorskins (used once for a 200km Audax) but can change to lightly used Conti GP5000s for the same price. For €200 more I can include a lovely pair of Campagnolo Zondas.

    3T Ergonova 44cm bars

Deda stem and alloy seat post

    Specialized Avatar saddle (recently fitted)

SKS Raceguard mudguards included in sale but good clearance for other mudguards in any event.

Also included are the bottle holders seen in the photos.

(Pedals, pump and saddle bag not included).

This bike is a seriously smooth and comfortable ride and would suit a multitude of uses. I have used it all year (in the dry!) and for Audaxes. Always properly looked after and still gets admiring comments.

As I said above, it's a difficult one to put a price on so I checked Adverts to see what else was on offer and think I've priced it reasonably at €1950 ono. Also this is a chance at a good price to pick up something a little bit different from the off the peg stock in bike shops. I'll leave it here for a few days and see how it gets on.

Based in north Wicklow but can meet within reason along the M50/M11

    Photos in next post

    Thanks for looking
