Both of them are better imo than the new base model, I just ordered a refurbed 11” pro for my daughter today. 128gb, pro motion, 120hz screen and gen 2 pencil support are they selling points.

Given both the Air 4th gen and pro gen 2 are only 2 years old, if I were you I would go with the pro.

they are a little cheaper on the UK website however can only be delivered in the UK, handy if you knew someone.

Make sure you don't go anything below 128 GB

    Very similar specs.

Both Air 4 and new Ipad 2022 have the A14 which in single core performance is 30% faster than the A12Z in the Pro.

That said, in multi core perf, the A12Z beats it.

Of course there is other differences including Pro 11 having better brightness and 2 additional GB's of ram.

The BIG difference between the Air and the new 10th gen iPad is that the Air has a laminated display. Given that it is the screen that is the thing you will be looking at, this would be a deal breaker for me.
