I'm about to receive a gift of this (through work)

Know absolutely nothing about it other than what a quick Google tells me.

1st release was 2021, this is the 2nd. Might be a regular thing. Not a terribly cheap one although originally sold for about €70, prices seem to have inflated rapidly.

So should I drink it or stash it?

Well, it isn't going to get any better in the bottle.

Recently bought a bottle of the standard Hibiki and I have to say I really like it. To answer your question I'd say just drink it, it should be relly good and something a bit different, I don't think its worthwhile selling it to be honest so unless you plan to gift it to someone I'd just open it and see what you think of it.

If you're a whiskey drinker, and you think you might enjoy it, open it.

If you hate whiskey, don't drink it.

If you've no interest in whiskey, sell it or regift it.

If you're curious about it, open it.
