Any issues with AddressPal & buying from the US?

Hi, firstly I hope this is the best place for this, could not find a more suitable place.

I've been searching for 6 weeks for a part for my classic car and someone found a source for me. Unfortunately it's in the US, Illinois, and they don't ship outside the US. I don't know anyone living there.

So, I'm thinking of using Address Pal. I've never used them before but I assume it will be obvious to this company what it is. Are they likely to refuse shipping the part (it's small, an ABS sensor).

To complicate matters further, in the product description they link to this:

WARNING: Cancer and reproductive harm - www.P65Warnings.ca.gov

And, how does Address Pal work re duty etc?

    Thanks.

PS the reason I'm asking here instead of just asking the company, is that I don't want to give them any info that might alert them. This part just can't be got in Europe so I don't want to mess this up.

You'll pay 23% VAT plus duty of I think 3.5% on car parts. This will be on sale price plus delivery costs and in addition to some administration charge depending in the carrier.

Nearly every product in the states has that warning on it, doubt it'll be a show stopper. Some places won't ship to a PO box so that might be an issue, happened me with a gun part. Got it sent to a friend instead.

First they came for the socialists...

Thanks for the replies. I'm waiting for a reply to a query about the part before I order.
