VOKERA 20S VISION BOILER

I have had the boiler off most of the Summer, just tried it a few times over the past week or two. Have noticed it's not firing when the timer comes on or even when it's switched to manual on. It's due a service and booked in but over the past few days I've noticed that if you move or give the cover a good rattle it will come on no problem. Sounds dodgy right? Anyway, just wondering to covers have safety sensors that prohibit the boiler working without a cover in place. Thanks,

Seems a common issue with this boiler. I had the same thing as did a neighbour.

The pcb seems very flaky and has failed.

Turn on boiler bang to the right of the pressure gauge and it will fire the boiler. If that's the case it is most likely the Pcb will need to be replaced if still in warranty call vokera themselves.

Otherwise their standard call out will apply think its 300€ +

just realised my boiler is a 25s but same symptoms and both boilers share the same PCB which seems susceptible to faulting out.

If the boiler is in warranty it should be covered and no fee. Otherwise Vokera offer a fixed fee for callout and repair

Just on to Vokera, boiler wasn't registered with them so a fix fee of 315 call out with an additional 70Euro service charge, may well just get it looked at properly. Safe than sorry and all that.
