I'm planning to travel from Dublin to Reykjavík in the new year. Icelandair and PLAY Airline both have suitable flights on the dates I want to travel. But PLAY is about €100 cheaper! I hadnt heard of PLAY until I looked up flights. It seems the airline was formed by some of the people behind Wow Air. I'm wondering if people here have experience of either or both airlines? If so, which would you recommend? And anyone know what sort of reputation PLAY Airline have? Would they be a reliable airline to use?

We flew Fly Play from Boston via Reykjavik to Dublin in August and back. No problem at all. No frills but still nice. Very much on time and well operated. Reykjavik airport was super expensive bar 1 small/tiny duty free. My husband flew with them again yesterday and flight from Reykjavik to Dublin landed ahead of schedule. He said that flight was pretty full. My only complaint would be we couldn’t check in online in August to Dub-Reykjavik flight and it appeared that no one could so there was a big check in line but we all got through.
