Hi Guys,Im travelling to Torremolinos soon and looking for some advice regarding transport from the Airport.Im heading to La Carihuela and was wondering if any body has any advice on my best option regarding travel.

I know i can get a taxi but was wondering if the bus or train were a better option or is that even an option, would love some opinions on this cheers.

    Why do you want options?

Its 10km, I’d imagine hopping in a taxi for the short journey to be dropped at your destination door for small enough money is the quickest & best option

I got the bus to Marbella from the airport a few years ago, not a bother, bus stop right out front of the airport iirc. I assume it'd be the similar for Torremolinos. In saying that, Torremolinos is so close to Malaga that a taxi can't be that expensive, I'd likely just take that option for speed and simplicity

Taxi is fairly expensive. Get the Renfe train from outside the terminal. Trains every 20 mins into Malaga or out as far as Fuengirola the other way. Plenty of stops along the way, including 1 in the middle of Torremolinos. Should cost less than a fiver per person and takes about 20-25 mins.

    Train is handy and cheap.

Defo train if flight time suit, station 2 min from arrivals. Buy ticket at machine in station. For Carihuela take direction Fuengirola then get off Montemar Alto. Easy 10-15 min walk downhill to La Carihuela.

    NB masks required on train

The train is more frequent and cheaper than the bus. The train station is across the forecourt when you exit the airport terminal. It cost €2.30 from the airport to Malaga Central when I was there earlier this week so would be similar price going the other way. Masks must be worn on public buses and trains.

Its around 20/30 euro for taxi,if i can get a cheaper option which gets me within walking distance to my accommodation ill be considering it.

Cheers, that sounds like the best way,ill check the walking distance from the station to where im staying and if it s near enough ill go that way.
